A 4th of July Birthday Bash!

We had the best 4th of July weekend not only celebrating this great country but our little boy turning 3! When my husband sprung the idea of having a campfire birthday party for our boy Jax a week before his birthday I was a little hesitant. With my love of decorating, a week hardly seemed like enough time to throw things together! However, I am really trying to tone down my perfectionist spirit and said what the heck! It hardly seems fitting to go with another theme than USA on this great weekend so we gave it another shot! Hope you enjoy some photos from such a special day!

My first attempt at making a cake since going gluten free and boy did it hit the spot!

His only birthday gift request was a blue truck...which he happened to pick out himself at Walmart the week before. I know...such a bad mom😁 He had been asking what happened to that truck all week and was thrilled when they were reunited again!!

This boy wasn't much into pictures and since it was his birthday we let him slide!

An intense game of husband versus the kids☺️

We were thrilled that Kai got to join our crazy family for his very first party! Gosh he is just the sweetest!!

Jax obviously could not have been more thrilled at the water table he got from his Auntie Deils & Uncle Cody!

They had a little photobombed that was trying to get in the shot!

And another one!

What a special day that was! Here's to saying "yes" more often to things and making more memories with the people we love❤ Cheers!

Oh Baby | A Baby Shower

Oh Baby | A Baby Shower

We are still reeling from such a wonderful weekend! From the moment we heard the awesome news that my sister Adahlia & her husband Cody were expecting the wheels started turning about how to make her baby shower extra special. Being that this will be our 6th boy in the family (that is girls for any of us yet!) I knew that it was time for us to add a little glitz to the party. For anyone who knows me well will also know that party planning is at the top of my list of favorite things. All I need is a good theme and I am off! I also have somewhat of an obsession for the tiniest of details so with the help of my mom, sisters, and the Dues family we somehow were able to pull it off! Enjoy some photos of this special day😊

The forecast was calling for rain all day but somehow we lucked out and the sun started shining as soon as the party began!

Seriously, how beautiful does she look! She has been such a trooper and made this whole pregnancy thing seem like a walk in the park!

My extremely talented sister Gabriella hand made soap to go along with the loofahs for the guests to take home and they smelled a-m-a-z-i-ng!!

A big thanks to the St Henry Bake Shoppe for making this gorgeous cake!

This was about as good as we could get with all these kiddos but I think it turned out perfect!

This was the first time we got to meet miss Mia and we could not get over her cuteness! So glad that we got the chance for a little photo op!

Jax was absolutely smitten with Mia and would not leave her side!

I can't thank everyone enough for joining us at the party and making the day so special! We could not be more excited for baby Dues to join our family in only 7 more weeks! He is already loved so much already❤

Holly + Shawn | A Wedding

I had such a great time with Holly & Shawn at their engagement session and I was so excited for their big day! We had a beautiful September day for their wedding ceremony in Burkettsville followed up by an elegant reception in Fort Recovery. We somehow were able to miss a big storm in between and just got some really ominous looking clouds instead! Loved getting to know this beautiful couple and their families. It was such an honor to be able to document their day!
